6th-8th Social Studies

Simple Solutions is one of the main components of Social Studies class for 6th - 8th grade. This workbook covers the essential Ohio standards and helps kids master key skills. We will complete the entire book by the end of the year!

In 6th and 7th grade we study the myWorld History textbook. Sixth grade covers ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, and China. Seventh grade covers Greece, Rome, and Medieval Europe. 

Eighth-grade year is when students get to study United States history. At the beginning of the year, we start with the thirteen colonies and will finish up with the Civil War.
