I am enjoying my second year as the junior high religion teacher at St. Thomas More School. I am using the Faith and Life series to teach our students about Jesus, the Bible, and the Catholic Church. I also try to encourage them to grow in their faith through volunteering in various church and service activities. I have been fortunate to be asked to teach 6th grade accelerated reading this year and I look forward to sharing stories of faith in their reading assignments. I have a Masters in Theology and a Masters in Special Education and have completed the Holocaust Center's Certificate for Holocaust Education. I have spent two years with the Catholic mission to Taiwan working with children with disabilities. I have also visited our Catholic schools in the West Bank in Israel with the Archdiocese HOPE education initiative.
