Friday March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and what better way to celebrate it than celebrating all week long by participating in "Read Across America." Each day we are going to have a theme that we will highlight, and we will connect these themes by incorporating a book or two from the Dr. Seuss collection.
Reading Challenge:
Each student will receive a Reading Challenge Log. They will keep track of how many minutes they read at school and at home. The homeroom that reads the most minutes in the week will receive an ice cream party at school. We also will have a school goal of 30,000 minutes by the end of the week. If we reach this goal, the whole school will get an “Out of Uniform Day!”
