Cardinal Corner - October 6, 2017

The latest Cardinal Corner is attached.

We really appreciate our parent volunteers!  Thanks to those of you who have taken time out of your busy schedules to help out in the library, cafeteria, on field trips, or in the classroom.  Parents who would like to volunteer must have attended VIRTUS training, which includes a background check, and must also be current on their monthly VIRTUS bulletins.

Temperatures will soon be seasonal, so be sure your child is dressed accordingly.  All clothing items, lunch, containers, etc., should have your child’s name written or embroidered on them.  If your student is missing a fleece or other item, please have him/her stop by to check our Lost and Found bin; a number of things have accumulated already.

Don’t forget there is no school this Monday, October 9, which is Columbus Day.

October is the month of the Rosary.  Please try to remember to pray it often, especially this month.  A Rosary Rally will be held here at the Marian Grotto on October 10 as part of a nationwide event; watch the Sunday bulletin for other days when there will be communal praying of the Rosary in church.    Our office staff is very grateful for the gifts of beautiful pocket rosaries that Prayer Partners in Mrs. Biernat’s 1st grade and Mr. Drewry’s 6th grade made together.

I hope all of you get to relax and enjoy the long weekend!

Blessings,

Candy
