Cardinal Corner Newsletter - September 11, 2020

Dear Parents,

The latest Cardinal Corner newsletter can be found at the link below.

It's hard to believe we have finished 3 weeks of school already!  We're still working hard at keeping each other safe and healthy, but we still need to work on keeping our distance from one another!

As arrival procedures have become more familiar, we will begin to mark car rider students tardy who are not in their classrooms by 8:00 am.  If tardy, they will need to come to the office for their health screening before going to class.

This coming Wednesday is picture day.  You should have received a flyer from Lifetouch earlier this week.  If you did not, let the office know so that we can send one home.  Students may be out of uniform on Wednesday for the pictures.  Please see the Cardinal Corner for more details.

As you may know, many of the PTO fundraiser events will have to be cancelled this year because we can't have large crowds together.  Please support the PTO in their Bengalmania fundraiser and any dine-to-donate opportunities throughout the year.  The PTO is a great support, both financially and otherwise, for our school and we greatly appreciate all of their efforts to provide those little extras for our teachers and students.

With the days becoming cooler in the mornings, make sure that any sweaters, jackets, fleeces, etc. have your child's name in them. It is amazing the number of "lost" items that accumulate so quickly - we would like to be able to return them to the proper owner, rather than giving these items away.

On this Patriot Day, let us remember all those who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, especially those first responders who so bravely rushed to the aid of others.  May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life.

Blessings,

Candy
