Ally and Emily Burger stand out in district Science competition

5th grader Ally Burger’s science project received a Superior rating at the District Science Fair held at the University of Cincinnati.  The event took place virtually this year due to the COVID19 virus.  Ally’s project, “Don’t be Under Pressure to Score a Goal,” is based on the pressure of a soccer ball and the distance it travels.

Ally also received the Ohio Academy of Science 529 CollegeAdvantage Savings Award for her participation in the District Science Day.

Emily Burger, 8th grader and Ally’s sister, received an Excellent rating at the District Science Fair for her project.

Judging at the state level will occur May 26 through June 2, and is hosted by The Ohio State University.  Project scores will be posted the following week on or before June 12.

We wish Ally all the best as she moves on to the virtual competition at the state level.  Congratulations to both girls in receiving high ratings for their Science Fair Projects, and again to Ally for her scholarship award!
