Walk M.O.R.E. this Thursday!

St. Thomas More's largest PTO fundraiser of the year is quickly approaching: Walk M.O.R.E. (M-oving O-utside 4 R-ecreation & E-xercise) will take place Thursday, May 11.  PTO has set a goal of $6,000 and plans to purchase desks/standing desks, preschool playground equipment and a tetherball set with the funds raised from this event. Walk MORE is a fun day filled with exercise and outdoor games; lunch will be provided. The games are based on the theme.  This year's Walk MORE theme is:  Never Fear:  Walk MORE's here!  (A superhero theme!)

We are excited to streamline the 2017 Walk MORE by going online. You will be able to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter, instead of going door-to-door, tracking commitments, and handling checks.

You should have received an email with a link to your child's pledge page today. You do not need to login or change anything. Simply make a donation for whatever you can, and share your participant's link with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small.

The PTO is giving incentives to make this the most successful Walk MORE to date:

* Each student who collects $25 in donations will be given an out of uniform

   pass for Tuesday, May 16.

* The top 12 students who raise the most funds in grades Preschool-3rd as

   well as the top 12 students in grades 4th-8th will win a limo ride to Mio's

   Pizzeria on Wednesday, May 17.  Students must raise a minimum of $100 to

   qualify to be in the top 12. 

* The homeroom that raises the most money will win a Sweet Frog

   party!  Please note that we will still accept donations outside the online

   format.  The offline donations will go towards your child's homeroom total;

   however it will not be counted and added to the total until the end of Walk


* This year we will have an Early Bird drawing!  Any students who get a

   minimum of $10 in online donations by noon on Tuesday, April 11, will be

   entered in a raffle to win Chick-fil-a lunch with 3 friends.  The winner will be

   announced the afternoon of April 11.  Lunch with friends will take place

   on Thursday, April 13.

We will need many volunteers on Thursday, May 11, to make this event a success!  A sign-up link will be sent out soon, so please keep your eyes peeled!  :)
