We’ve had a great first full week of school and it seems that everyone is settling in! Even the few tears that we had seen in the morning have been replaced by smiles and happy faces as we get to our classrooms.
We will once again be implementing our Virtue of the Month program. Our September virtue will be Gratitude. We will be teaching the children that this means having a thankful disposition of mind and heart and expressing gratitude even when it is difficult. We will be discussing several saints who showed gratitude in their lives and ee if we can follow their example.
Picture Day is Wednesday, September 4th. Students may be out of uniform that day but must be dressed appropriately for school (shorts, skirts, and dresses no shorter than 2” above the knee, no spaghetti straps, heels, boots, etc.) All students will have their pictures taken for our yearbook.
