Grateful thanks to our amazing PTO Teacher Appreciation Team for a fabulous dinner last night during Parent-Teacher Conferences. The T.A.T. never fails to provide us with a wonderful array of great food and desserts!
Our Spring Book Fair is going on this week with preview days on Monday and Tuesday, and shopping days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Flyers with details were sent home with students today.
It’s time to design our PTO Walk M.O.R.E. t-shirt for 2019! All student artists should see details in the Cardinal Corner.
Thanks to our PTO for helping fund an educational conference which I and a few of our teachers attended this week. We learned engaging techniques, how to incorporate rigorous content, and create out-of-the-box lessons in our classroom settings daily. We look forward to sharing this information with other teachers at our next faculty meeting.
Winter is still here and many of us, including me, have been fighting the flu virus. To help us all avoid illness, please be sure your children get plenty of rest during the week.
The gospel this Sunday tells us to “…do good, expecting nothing in return,” which is an excellent way for us to practice this month’s virtue of Courtesy. As the scripture also assures us, the reward is well worth the effort.
