Miss Gilliland, also called Miss G, is new to St. Thomas More this year but isn't new to teaching. She comes with 9 years of teaching experience in elementary education.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University and has taught mostly in Christian Schools. She is a native to Clermont County and looks forward to teaching locally. She believes that private schools offer greater educational opportunities and produces students that are well prepared to further their education.

Miss G spends most of her free time working with children. She teaches junior high students at her church, chaperons youth functions and tutors those in need. She volunteers with under privileged children in our area and meets with them one Saturday a month with an event called "Kids Club". She has attended several mission trips offering backyard Bible clubs.

Miss G is soon to become Mrs. Waters. She is getting married this fall and has been very busy this summer with all the wedding plans. She is now looking forward to this new teaching experience.
