Dear Parents:

The Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for November 18-22. Your child will have the opportunity to view and purchase many award-winning books. Your child will be bringing home a Scholastic Book Fairs book list next week. It highlights a few of the books we will feature.

All Book Fair purchases benefit our school because proceeds will help fund projects throughout the year as well as contribute new books to our library. We are also building classroom libraries through the fair. When you or your child visit the Scholastic Book Fair, please consider donating a book as a special gift to your child's classroom library. Teachers have created "Classroom Library Wish Lists" which will be posted at the fair. You can purchase any book on a list, tell the cashier it’s a Wish List book, and a bookplate will be placed in the book and donated to the classroom to enrich students for years to come.

Books are a great gift for anyone. There are books for the whole family. You are also welcome to come when your child’s class visits the book fair. I will send the class schedules when I receive them.
